I’ve another toddler friendly Halloween baking recipe to share with you all in preparation for next week. It’s actually a spin on these chocolate mushrooms that I made years ago but with a Halloween twist.
They are ideal for little hands and it doesn’t matter if they are wonky as it just adds to the charm.
Warning though – these are seriously moreish, and you may find yourself inhaling more than one. That probably explains why I only lost half a pound at Slimming World last week – oops!
Halloween Chocolate Mushrooms
100g milk chocolate
100g white chocolate
1 x bag of marshmallows
Petit Four cases
Halloween sprinkles
Melt the
chocolate separately in a heatproof bowl in the microwave (slowly so it doesn’t
burn)
Lay out
your petit four cases on a baking sheet and pour some sprinkles in the bottom
of each case, enough to cover the base.
Half fill each case with some chocolate and gently press in
a marshmallow
Repeat until all the chocolate and marshmallows have been
used
Place in the fridge to firm up
Once the chocolate has set remove each mushroom from the
paper case and stand upright so the chocolate is on top and the marshmallow is
the base
Enjoy!
